Imphal, February 09 2015:
Departing from their earlier position of resolving the revolutionary movements of the North Eastern region through political dialogues, the Indian military forces have decided to keep the region under their occupation permanently in view of the sustained revolutionary movements being waged in the region particularly in Assam, Nagaland and Manipur, continued the statement issued by MAC Chairman Pambei.
The Indian military forces have also adopted a new strategy called 'surgical ops' which is characterised by intelligence gathering, deployment of small military forces armed with sophisticated weapons.
Military civic action programmes such as construction of roads is a continuation of the Government of India's policy to win hearts and minds of Manipuri people so that the whole Manipuri nation can be amalgamated into pan-Indian nation.
Another measure initiated by the Indian military forces so as to facilitate permanent occupation of the region is infiltration into the revolutionary groups.
Grooming ethnic armed groups and pitching them against revolutionary parties is one unmistakeable dimension of the Government of India's counter insurgency policies.
To counter and defeat such strategies of the Government of India and its military forces is the collective responsibility of all the revolutionary groups of the land, Pambei stated.
In spite of the much superior position enjoyed by India in terms of military strength and weapons, it is unable to suppress the revolutionary movements of Manipur because of people's love and support to the revolutionary groups.
Saying that the MPA would carry on its offensive against Indian military forces, the MAC Chairman asserted that the liberation movement would be carried forward relentlessly.
In commemoration of the 28th raising day, the outfit paid homage to all the revolutionary cadres as well as non-combatants who have been killed by Indian military forces in the course of the liberation movement.
It further conveyed solidarity to all the people who have been crippled and whose modesty have been outraged by the atrocities of Indian military forces.
The outfit also conveyed revolutionary greetings to fellow revolutionary groups of the region namely; KLO, NSCN(K), ULFA and CorCom.
