SUK launches blood donation camp

Imphal, February 06 2022: A five-day long blood donation camp which is being organised under the theme Kanglei Meeyamgi Mafamda Katthoklaba Ee' by Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK) commenced from Sunday at the blood banks of Shija Hospitals & Research Institute and Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal.

According to the students' body, the camp is being organised with the objective to make up the possible shortage of blood in the light of vigorous vaccination drive and third wave of Covid-19.It is an effort to help poor people in their times of need.

The Union also appealed to the people of the state to donate their blood before the Covid-19 third wave surges.

Around 80 SUK members donated blood on the first day of the camp.
