Army sets up computer training laboratory

Imphal, March 03 2025: In a significant initiative to promote digital literacy and improve the quality of education, Indian Army inaugurated a Computer Training Lab at Lerijao Upper Primary School in Khurkhul (Keingam) village, Imphal West district, on Monday.

The newly established facility is equipped with computers, printers, and other IT peripherals, providing students with access to modem educational tools.

The initiative aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping young learners with essential computer skills and enhancing their digital literacy.

The inauguration event saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and local residents.

Community members, including teachers and village elders, thanked the Indian Army for its efforts in advancing educational opportunities in the region.
