MLA Nemcha hailed for contribution in Covid fight

Kangpokpi, May 21 2021: IT Road Irang Area COVID Task Force and Kangpokpi district hospital authority have lauded the contribution being made by Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen in the fight against COVID-19 in Kangpokpi assembly segment.

Man Kumar Gole, president of the Task Force, said that considering the necessity of vaccination, the local MLA after forming the area COVID Task Force initiated a vaccination drive in Irang area and in collaboration with former executive member of ADC Sadar Hills BP Vikas Basnet and T Waichong Youth Club organised the vaccination programme at PHC, T Waichong on Friday.

More than 100 people of Irang and its adjoining areas got vaccinated.

Basnet also distributed masks, sanitizers and hand gloves to the people.

The COVID Task Force of the area also expressed gratitude to the medical team from the district hospital and PHC, T Waichong for their services and sacrifices.

Meanwhile, the district hospital authority lauded the local MLA for donating 10 D-type oxygen cylinders and an ambulance to serve the need of the people in the fight against the pandemic.
