Assam Rifles aids treatment of Kwatha villagers

Assam Rifles provided vital aid to Kwatha villagers on October 19, facilitating safe transport for 16 residents, including school children and a senior citizen requiring urgent medical attention from Kwatha to Pallel and back.
The villagers were safely escorted in protected vehicles, with the patient receiving ambulance support, ensuring timely access to healthcare and education amidst ongoing challenges.
Since the onset of recent tensions, Assam Rifles has played a crucial role in safeguarding the community at Kwatha, providing a reassuring presence at all times.
T Sanjoy Singh, village secretary of Kwatha, thanked Assam Rifles for the assistance, said PRO IGAR (S) in a release.
