Guardians oppose college fee hike

Imphal, April 11 2023: With reference to the stand of college student unions' against hiking of fee for examination form fill up for 2nd, 4th and 6th semester under Manipur University, All Manipur Students Guardians' Organisation has said that it fully endorses the stand of the unions.

In a release, Organisation's general secretary Sumati Sougrakpam said that the stand taken by the students' bodies is reasonable as such unprecedented increase in fee structure has left many students unable to fill up the examination forms and eventually would not be appearing the exams, she added.

The organisation further urged authorities concerned and controller of examinations to look into the matter and revise the fee structure in the interest of students.
