AR observes National Nutrition Week

Tamenglong, September 01 2024: Tamenglong Battalion Assam Rifles conducted medical camps at Rangkhong-III and Dikiuram villages on Sunday to mark the commencement of National Nutrition Week in Tamenglong and Noney districts.

Rangkhong-III, Dikiuram and neighbouring villages are located in remote area and devoid of the most basic medical facilities.

The camp was conducted as an empathetic gesture, to address the health issues of the locals residing in the area.

More than 250 people were benefitted by the camp which entailed general health check-up and medical examination by medical staff of Assam Rifles.

Medicines were also distributed and administered as per requirement of the patients.
