Sainik School cadets meet company commander

In an effort to inspire and engage with the youth, Indian Army organised "A day with company commander" for the cadets of Sainik School, Imphal in Bishnupur district on Friday.
As per a PRO Defence release, the event attended by 30 cadets of class 9 featured a variety of activities familiarising them with the rich history and ethos of Indian Army, while giving them a glimpse of the scemc Loktak Lake.
The cadets visited the prestigious Indian National Army (INA) Museum in Moirang, where the cadets learnt about history and role of INA and 'Netaji' Subhash Chandra Bose, in the freedom movement.
The cadets also visited Sendra Army Camp in Bishnupur district, ashore Loktak Lake, and 'Red Shield Centre of Wellness and Excellence' popularly known as 'Manipur Super-50', where a variety of activities were conducted including volleyball match, screening of motivational movie about 'Life In The Army', and an interactive session with officers and soldiers.
According to the PRO, the event underscores commitment of Indian Army towards engaging, motivating, and inspiring the youth to be future leaders and to play a pivotal role in nation-building.
