5-day mass testing / vaccination camp to be held at Khurai AC

Imphal, June 06 2021: People who are found COVID-19 negative in the 5 days mass testing ciim vaccination drive to be held from tomorrow in Khurai AC and have not received their vaccination will be vaccinated on the spot.

Amba Sanjenbam, coordinator, Assembly Segment COVID Awareness and Enforcement Committee, Khurai said this and added the 5 days mass testing cum vaccination drive is organised under the aegis of MLA L Susindro in collaboration with District Administration Imphal East, CMO Imphal East and local clubs of the AC.

The drive will be inaugurated on June 7 at Kongpal Kongkham Leikai Makha Community hall; at Top Khongnangkhong on June 8; at Konsam Leikai on June 9; at Ima Lai Khurembi Sanglen, Khurai Sajor Leikai on June 10 and at Moirangkampu on June 11 .

She added that as mass testing alone was not enough to fight the pandemic, there is a rising need to accompany mass testing with mass vaccination.

She also appealed anyone who wants to get tested or vaccinated to contact the committee or local clubs.

In continuation of donation to COVID-19 Relief Fund Khurai AC, Loushambam Surjamani of Khurai Sajor Leikai donated Rs 5000; Md Yunush of Khumidok donated Rs 5000; Waikhom Jiban of Khurai Ningthoubung Rs 2000; L Krishnagopal of Khurai Konsam Rs 2000; Md Firoz of Khumidok Rs 1000 and Ward member of Khumidok Gram Panchayat Sharat Rs 1000 .
