Many mourn demise of CJM Somorjit

Imphal, February 01 2022: All Manipur Judicial Officers' Association on Tuesday organised a prayer meeting at its conference hall and mourned the demise of CJM Y Somorjit in a road mishap.

In a release, the association informed that the meeting was presided over by presiding officer (revenue tribunal) and AMJOA vice president Naorem Rajnikanta and attended by AMBA president M Nilachandra, judicial officers and bar members among others.

A two-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul, it added.

Execution Victim Families Association, Manipur (EEV-FAM), Human Rights Alert (HRA) and Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching also condoled the demise of Y Somorjit by observing two minutes' silence! They also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family.
