EGC, Thoubal Moijing rues shortage of teachers

Thoubal, October 20 2024: Educational Guide Centre (EGC), Thoubal Moijing has urged authorities concerned to address shortage of teachers and appoint headmaster in-charge of Moijing High School, in the interest of the student community.

Addressing media persons at its office, EGC president MM Abdur Razaque said that a meeting was held with the EGC executive committee, advisory board, political leaders, social workers, and teachers and staff of Moijing High School to discuss present situation of the school.

The meeting adopted various resolutions including appointment of a headmaster in charge as the school has been without one for the past three months, address shortage of teachers and establish the School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) at the soonest possible.
