C-PEC training prog concludes

Imphal, October 29 2021: The three-day long C:PEC (Centre for Professional Excellence in Cooperatives) training programme on 'Developing Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies' (PACS) organised by Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) since October 27 at the conference hall of the institute concluded on Friday.

The closing ceremony was attended by deputy RCS of department of cooperative (administration) O Jiten, Manipur State Cooperative Bank Limited managing director Bidyarani Ayekpam and ICM director K Jaychandra as presidium members.

During the ceremony, Jaychandra said that PACS is a society for farmers living under Gram Panchayat level and it is very important for farmers as improving their livelihood is essential for bringing a developmental change in the society.

He said that the training programme attended by 38 members of 19 societies was conducted with the main objective of increasing income of farmers.
