Imphal, April 23 2023: Association of Clinical Chemistry and Lab Medical Practitioners (ACCLMP), Manipur State Chapter organised the first Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on 'Exploring the horizon of Clinical Biochemistry: Biomarker an aid to early diagnosis' at the auditorium of JNIMS on Saturday.

The programme was attended by patron JNIMS director Prof L Deben, Organising chairman/Biochemistry Department head/ACCLMP Manipur president Prof RK Bidyarani, Organising secretary and ACCLMP general secretary Dr Y Ramananda, Scientific Committee member and ACCLMP Scientific Committee chairperson Prof Laikangbam Saini, executive member and Scientific Committee joint chairperson Dr Sangita Naorem and ACCLMP treasurer Dr Th Ratanmani as presidium members.

During the programme, various resource persons spoke on the topic of 'Medical Ethics and Etiquette, Overview, Vision, Mission of ACCLMP, Laboratory Errors, Choosing Right Methodology and Interpretation in Clinical Biochemistry, Cardiac Markers, Screening of Heart Diseases in Community, Cardiac Biomarkers in Paediatric: An Undervalued Resource, Tumour Marker and their relevance on Ovar ian Malignancy' .
