AR fetes students, aids ARESM, meets villagers

Assam Rifles organised a felicitation ceremony for nine students who cleared the entrance examination of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Oinam, Bishnupur district on Monday.
Informing that the event was conducted in coordination with Senkon Navodaya Coaching Centre, Oinam, PRO IGAR (S) said in a release that following rigorous preparation and dedication, nine students excelled in the highly competitive entrance examination.
These students have exhibited exemplary commitment, intellect, and resilience in their pursuit of academic excellence.
The felicitation ceremony was organised to recognise and applaud the.
remarkable accomplishments of these bright young minds, added the release.
Meanwhile, Assam Rifles provided IT peripherals to Assam Rifles Ex-Servicemen (ARESM) Association office, Ukhrul on Tuesday.
In response to the request of ARESM office authorities, IT peripherals, including printers and stationery, were handed over to the office bearers.
The assistance will aid the ESM organisation in their daily affairs and also in conduct of meetings in the office, the PRO said in another release.
On the other-hand, Assam Rifles conducted "Fostering Bonds and Harmony with Border Village Families" through dialogues at Chassad, Kamjong district on May 19 .
In its community outreach initiative, the Assam Rifles organised a community meal for the families and children of Khoikoi village in Kamjong district.
The event aimed to foster unity and address the concerns of local villagers amid ongoing security challenges along the Indo-Myanmar border, said the PRO, adding that 15 villagers from Khoikoi village participated in the event during which games were also organised for the participants, followed by an interactive session wherein villagers shared their needs, grievances, and other concerns.
