Induction programme / awareness for JRC, YRC organised

Kakching, August 03 2025: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Kakching District Branch held induction cum blood donation awareness and first-aid training programme for its Junior Red Cross (JRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) units at Library and Information Centre, Kakching auditorium on Sunday.

The programme was attended by IRCS Manipur chairman Narendra Ningomba, general secretary Athokpam Nabachandra, IRCS Kakching vice president Moirangthem Manihar, chairman Dr Mayanglambam Rajkumar, and vice chairman Naorem Debendra as presidium members.

During the event, 250 students of Martin Grammar School, Kakching; Grace Cottage Academy, Kakching; Victory High School, Kakching; Wabagai Higher Secondary School; and Kha Manipur College, Kakching were inducted to JRC and YRC.

IRCS Kakching secretary Kshetrimayum Dharmadas delivered the keynote address, with IRCS Manipur State Branch general secretary Athokpam Nabachandra and chairman Narendra Ningomba speaking as resource persons.

Later, a demonstration cum training programme on first-aid kit was conducted for the students.
