CM assures GTH in Tousem

Imphal, December 22 2021: Chief minister N Biren Singh has reportedly assured to visit Tousem subdivision as a part of the Go To Hills (GTH) programme before imposition of election Model Code of Conduct.

He made this assurance to a delegation of Tousem Area Students' Organisation (TASO) when they called on the chief minister on Tuesday at his Bungalow.

A memorandum was submitted and the content was also discussed for redressal of various crucial matters.

Further, the team also requested the CM to set up government Teachers Training Institute in Tousem Sub Division and for deputation of Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) at Tousem at the earliest.

CM Biren also gave his commitment to develop Tousem area in Tamenglong district and highlighted various schemes and projects that the government has undertaken in Tousem.

He also assured of implementing the proposed planned programmes.
