Outreach on 100 crore vaccination held in Chandel

Imphal, November 22 2021: Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) Chandel on Monday observed an Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme on 100 crore COVID-19 vaccination at Purum Pantha/Phaidam village community hall in Chandel district.

The event was attended by village chief Jevan Sankhil, Tengnoupal district VLW Kanwar Makan, former chairman Beshor Khullar and Purum Tampak HWC CHO Maryboi Yulhung as chief guest, guest of honour, president and resource person respectively.

In her speech, Maryboi detailed nation's achievement of 100 crore Covid-19 vaccination and also outlined the initiatives of state and central government, contribution of doctors, nurses, medical faculties, CSOs and others who contributed in fighting against the virus.

She urged the public to get complete dose of vaccination and at the same time follow Covid appropriate behaviour to contain the virus once and for all.

The programme was also participated by M/s SDF Moreh Museum, Tengnoupal district and M/s NF Singjamei Thongam Leikai, Imphal West under S&DD ROB Imphal West.

A quiz competition was held as part of the event and prizes distributed to the winners.
