Death anniversary of ex-minister Babu observed

Kakching, October 20 2024: The 17th death anniversary of Mayanglambam Babu, who was elected MLA for two terms from Sugnu assembly constituency and also served as minister of IFC, art & culture, family welfare and CADA, was observed at Kakching Khunou Angom Leikai on Sunday.

The commemorative programme organised by M Babu Singh Memorial Trust was attended by BJP Sugnu Mandal president Abujam Ibotombi, Trust secretary Kh Sanayaima, members N Mellei, Kh Kalachand and Mayanglambam Binod, and people from across Sugnu AC.

The observance was marked by paying of floral tributes to photo of M Babu along with observing two minutes' silence in respect of Meetei martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of Manipur in the ongoing conflict.
