NE BJP workers' conference held

Imphal, November 18 2022:
Under the theme 'Celebrating the diversities of North East India', North East India BJP Karyakata Sammelan 2022 was organised by North East Cell, Bharatiya Janata Party, Delhi Pradesh at Pt Pant Marg, New Delhi on November 13 .
The conference figured discussion on issues being faced by the NE community in the national capital.
Union minister of state for external affairs and culture Meenakashi Lekhi, Rajya Sabha MP and titular king of Manipur Leishemba Sanajaoba, Municipal Council Delhi vice-chairman and BJP Delhi former president Satish Upadhyay, BJP MLA from Sikkim YT Lepcha, Assam & Nagaland Governor's OSD and media advisor Atul Singhal and BJP Delhi secretary Neeraj Tiwari attended the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, union MoS Meenakshi Lekhi emphasised on the role of northeast community in Delhi in the success of BJP MCD election.
Satish Upadhyay announced names of office bearers of BJP Delhi Pradesh NE Cell which include Linda Newmai (convenor), Mughavi A Tuccu (co-convenor), T Ashuhrii Romeo, Kabir Hazarika & Uttam Chakma (secretaries), Ghritashri Bhuyan Narula (Assam in-charge), Liyi Marli Noshi (Arunachal Pradesh in-charge), Imtisoa Aier (Nagaland in-charge) and Dr M Manoj Singh (Manipur in-charge).
Around 1000 NE people living in the national capital participated in the conference.
