Kak/Tpl, July 31 2022: As a part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, Modi Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted an awareness lecture on "Drug abuse" at Machi village, Tengnoupal district, today.

The lecture was conducted to spread awareness on the ill effects of drugs and achieve the goal of a sustainable world, said a statement of IGAR(S).

During the event, students were educated about the impact of drug and substance abuse.

They were also briefed about higher education, career opportunities and types of entries to join Indian Armed Forces.

Moreover, Phundrei Battalion also organised an awareness lecture on the Indian National Flag at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Umathel, Kakching district on July 30.The programme was conducted as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to promote Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and instill pride & honour of the National Flag among the people.
