Covid testing, sample collection centre opened

Imphal, December 27 2021: Health Services director Dr K Rajo opened a Covid testing and RTPCR Sample Collection Centre under Directorate of Health Services at Khamnam Bazar, Imphal West district on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Dr K Rajo informed that the testing and sampling site, which was opened at TG Higher Secondary has been closed down.

However, taking into account the rising number of Omicron cases in the country, the Covid testing & sample collection centre has been opened in Imphal West district.

The newly opened testing centre will not only benefit the people of Imphal West district but the entire state.

Anyone having suspicion of getting infected by Covid can get tested at the centre which is located along the road of Science Centre, adjacent to SAI Complex, he informed.

The function was also attended by Imphal West CMO Dr S Priyokumar.
