Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC gets new vaccination centre

Imphal, June 07 2021: A vaccination drive was launched at Urban Health Centre (UHC) opened at Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai by ex MLA RK Anand who is al so a state exec uti ve member of BJP Manipur Pradesh.

The vaccination drive was launched by RK Anand in collaboration with Ereima Seva Association and Community Home Isolation Centre opened by 14 local clubs of the area at Pitambara English School.

Speaking at the event, RK Anand said the vaccination drive was launched after completing mass testing of people in areas around UHC Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai with a view to ease Out the hardship face by the people from this side of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC in going for vaccination at Mekola and Samurou Health Centres.

He also expressed gratitude to Director NHM, CMO Imphal West, DC and other officials of Health Department for their unhindered cooperation in realising the vaccination drive.

Vaccination is globally approved measure to stay safe from the pandemic and vaccination and observation of COVID-19 appropriate behaviour are the best ways to prevent the spread of the virus, he added.

He also appealed everyone to support families affected by COVID-19 pandemic and not to stigmatise people contracted with the virus.

BJP Kisan Morcha, Manipur Pradesh also presented everyone who had turned up for vaccination at UHC Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai with tree saplings in connection with the 'World Environment Day' .

Ex MLA RK Anand also urged everyone to plant a tree each in order to restore the pity state of our environment and also planted trees around the health centre.

Laishram Bishwajit, secretary, Ereima Seva Association said the opening of vaccination facility at UHC Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai will solve the problem face by the people of the localities as they had to travel long distance to get their vaccine.

CHIC convenor Surchandra expressed gratitude to ex MLA RK Anand for taking the initiative to open vaccination facility at the health centre.

BJP Kisan Morcha Manipur Pradesh and RK Anand also handed over face mask, biscuits and package water under 'Seva hi Sangathan' and 'Mera Booth Corona Mukt' campaigns.
