Imphal, June 06 2021: COVID-19 relief items distribution continued today at various places.

Keirao AC Distribution of relief items to every family in Keirao AC by MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei was kick off yesterday.

4 kg of rice for every family member in the AC along with vegetables and other edible items will be distributed to every family without any distinction of holding a ration card NFSA or not.

The tribal majority areas inside Keirao AC are covered by Ukhrul or Kangpokpi districts in matters of NFSA rations, however in the relief, items distribution that was kick off yesterday, all the families including the tribal villages were covered and wiir be covered in the coming days, said one of the representative of the distribution committee.

Khundrakpam AC Relief items including edibles like rice, lentils, cooking oil, ngari (fermented fish) and soap were distributed to families at different localities in Khundrakpam AC under the aegis of MLA Th Lokeshwar.

The items were distributed to families from Pukhao Terapur (37 families); Pukhao Khabam (6 families); Chanung (11 families); Phurji (6 families); Heikakmapal (38 families); Waiton (8 families); Pangei (4 families); Tangkham Makha (13 families) and Molkong Makeng Chonglou (33 families).

A total of 156 families were benefited from the relief items distribution today.

Ph Lanajit Singh, producer, CELIN Digital said they had also undertaken distribution of masks to security personals in the first wave of the pandemic and in the second of the pandemic, they will continue to distribute masks at District Police Stations.
