AR organises wushu coaching camp

Imphal, March 03 2023: In order to promote sports activities and empower youth of Bishnupur district, Loktak Battalion of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) sponsored conduct of 1st Bishnupur district wushu coaching camp from March 1 to 10 at Thinungei village.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the coaching camp is being organised and sponsored by Loktak Battalion wherein deserving and interested local youth from Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts are encouraged to participate.

The aim of the activity is to generate the spirit of sportsmanship amongst the participants and civilians alike.

The students participating in the coaching camp appreciated the initiative and highlighted that such events by the Battalion will give fillip to "Assam Rifles-youth interaction" and foster a healthy competitive spirit among the youth of the area.
