MLA assures to complete Takyel-Ghari road repairing

Imphal, September 01 2024: Patsoi MLA Sapam Kunjakishore has assured that repairing of the Takyel-Ghari road, also known as Takyel Industry Road, will be completed by this month, provided there are no disruptions and the weather conditions remain favourable.

Speaking to reporters during inspection of the ongoing repair work on Sunday, the MLA noted importance of the Takyel Industry Road as it interlinks NH2 and NH37, and the under-construction Tamenglong-Haflong road.

According to PWD records, the 2 km stretch is officially referred to as Takyel-Ghari Road.

Although there is no formal government proposal for repairing the road stretch, he took the initiative due to its significance and its location within his constituency, Kunjakishore reasoned and expressed hope that the government will also extend official support to ensure timely completion of the road repair works within this month.
