Imphal, July 19 2024: Kontha Khabam Mamang Leikai Meira Paibis and Kontha Literary & Sporting Club have strongly condemned the gun attack on Khoirom Loyalakpa, Editor, Naharolgi Thoudang on the intervening night of July 15 and 16 .

Notably, unknown miscreants fired multiple rounds at the residence of Khoirom Loyalakpa at Kontha Khabam Laiharaobam.

Addressing a press conference in this connection at Thangjing Hall of Manipur Press Club today, Thoudam Sumati, secretary, Kontha Khabam Mamang Leikai Meira Paibis said that the violent incident has caused an atmosphere of fear among the family members of the Editor and the people of the locality.

Condemning the gun attack, Sumati demanded a clarification from the perpetrators .
