Sensitisation cum interaction programme on JJ Act held

Thoubal, February 18 2025: A sensitisation cum interaction programme on JJ Act, 2015 was held today at the Conference Hall of Thoubal District Court Complex organised by the District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal.

At the event, District Child Protection Officer, Salam Robindro stressed on the role of District Child Protection Unit for effective implementation of the JJ Act, 2015 while Mala Lisam stressed on the Central and State schemes for Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP) and Children in Conflict with Laws (CCL) and District and Session Judge, Thoubal, Samom Ibjen highlighted the role of stakeholders under the POCSO Act, 2012 as resource persons.

Today's event was attended by various Child Care Institute of Thoubal and Kakching district, JJ Board and representatives of the Child Welfare Committee.
