Imphal, December 11 2022: Naorem Birahari College and students of different schools celebrated Indian Languages Day in the Department of Sociology, Naorem Birahari College today.

Naorem Ibohal Singh, Chairman of the College graced the programme as the chief guest.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp by N Ibohal Singh in the presence of Dr Irom Kunjabati Singh, Principal in Charge of the College.

As a part of the programme, the students of different classes performed story telling session.

Indian Languages Day observed

An essay writing competition for the students was also held.

Later prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition.

Speaking at the occasion, N Ibohal Singh brief about the importance of Indian Languages Day and encouraged the students to work sincerely for a bright and stable future.
