CCpur, February 04 2022: Churachandpur district administration and the District Health authority have pulled up their sleeves to boost Covid vaccination drive in the district.

The district administration has lined up plans to conduct Covid vaccination at 35 polling stations within 59-Saikot AC and another 35 polling stations within 58-Churachandpur AC tomorrow.

To speed up vaccination in Chura-chandpur and Pherzawl, a meeting was convened yesterday at the DC's office here.

BLOs and ASHAs will accompany the vaccination team in their respective polling stations and mobilize the public.

The team will also cover 5 schools and another 5 villages apart from the identified vaccination sites.

At the same time, the District Health authority has opened a Covid vaccination centre for all age categories (15+, 18+ and precautionary dose) at District Immunization Centre near District Hospital daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

As of today, there are 78 (35 male & 43 female) active Covid cases in the district.

The daily positivity rate for the district stands at 11.14 percent.
