Imphal, September 01 2024: Education Minister Th Basantakumar inaugurated a keithel at Khathong Makha Leikai, Nambol yesterday.

Named Leishana Keithel, the keithel was constructed from the personal fund of the Minister.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Basantakumar said that the keithel will aid the locals in improving their financial condition.

The Minister also shared the inauguration of the keithel on his X (formerly called Twitter) handle.

"Delighted to attend the inaugural function of Leishana Keithel, Khathong Makha Leikai today as the chief guest.

The new keithel is poised to enrich the community by supporting local businesses and offering diverse options," he wrote in the post.
