Imphal, April 25 2023: Loktak Battalion Assam Rifles of IGAR (South) organised a 'friendly volleyball match' with Kumbi Youth Club in Bishnupur district on Tuesday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the match was played between unit troops and team of Kumbi Youth Club at Kumbi post of the Battalion.

The match witnessed participation of 15 representatives of unit troops and 12 members of Kumbi Youth Club.

Assam Rifles also conducted a friendly volleyball match with the youth of Turning village in Churachandpur district on Tuesday to motivate the youth on the importance of sports and physical training in their daily life.

The event was attended by 18 villagers including players and locals from Tuining village.

The locals and youth of village expressed their gratitude to the security forces for their assistance for shaping a better future for youth.
