Lions Club organises Covid vax prog

Imphal, September 20 2021: Lions Club of Imphal Central on Monday organised a one-day vaccination programme at Semgat Sagatpa Apunba Naharol community hall, Sagolband Thangjam Leirak as a part of voluntary humanitarian service to protect human lives from the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a release, Club secretary Dr Pangeijam Sanjeev informed that a total of 140 vaccine doses were administered during the programme during which its president Yumnam Ranjit Singh also appealed to the people to get vaccinated maintain Covid appropriate behaviour to prevent spread of the infectious virus in the state.

The Club also expressed its thankfulness to the Imphal West deputy commissioner, medical team and the members of the Semgat Sagatpa Apunba Naharol for extending their full cooperation in successfully organising the programme.
