JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO forms interim council

Imphal, August 07 2021: All Manipur Trade Union Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Government Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) organised a requisition meeting for its Joint Administrative Council (JAC) at the conference hall of Manipur State Pharmacy Council, CMO Imphal West Complex, Lamphelpat on Saturday.

A press release informed that during the meeting, members present decided to dissolve the existing executive council with immediate effect and grant permission to hold the Requisition Meeting under Article No 14 of the Constitution of the JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO.

It also informed that the members resolved to constitute an Interim Council with Th John Singh as chairman, N Ingocha Singh (Minor Irrigation Dept) as convener and L Ranjoy Singh (Power Dept) as co-convenor.

The interim council will also have 12 members and three advisors.

The further resolved to entrust the interim council to hold elections of both AMTUC and AMGEO, the constituent wings of JAC within six months to elect the new office bearers.
