Imphal, January 29 2022: Shiv Sena Manipur and Manipur Democratic Alliance (MDA) have pledged support to BJP MLA of Khurai assembly constituency L Susindro in the upcoming state assembly election.

Announcing this during a press meet held at Shiv Sena office here on Saturday, party's state unit president M Tombi also revealed that the party is screening its intending candidates.

The Shiv Sena is planning to contest the election in at least 15 assembly constituencies and will declare its list of candidates soon.

The party will provide more physical, financial and mental support to women candidates, especially from among the Muslim community, in the election, he assured.

On the other hand, Lahoubasang Sungte, intending candidate of the par-ty from Thanlon AC of Pherzawl district, organised a ceremony to seek blessing for his victory in the election.
