Imphal, May 27 2024: As a part of obser vance of World Environment Day, Assam Rifles organised a motivational lecture at Sita village in Tengnoupal district to highlight the importance of energy conservation, water conservation and to maintain pollution-free environment.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the lecture is part of the Assam Rifles' commitment to community engagement and environmental sustainability.

The lecture aimed to educate and motivate the villagers on the importance of conserving energy and water, essential resources that are increasingly under strain due to climate change and population growth.

Additionally, the discussion highlighted practical steps that individuals and communities can take to reduce pollution and protect the local environment, it added.
