Kakching, September 26 2021: Continuing its Special Sunday programme, Library and Information Centre, Kakching organised the 411th edition of the programme with Waikhom Nydia Devi on Sunday giving an opportunity to students to interact with the UPSC-Civil Services Examination 2020 successful candidate apart from felicitating her.

Waikhom Nydia Devi, who hails from Kakching Supermarket, ranked 180th in Civil Services Examination-2020 conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the result of which was recently declared.

The Special Sunday programme held at the auditorium of Library and Information Centre, Kakching located at Kakching Phoushupat Leikai was also attended by DIET Kakching retired principal Naorem Birmangal, Library and Information Centre vice president M Kunjakesho (Mukshan), donor of the library Bhubon and Leirik Brick Field Kakching proprietor Naorem Nopur Singh and Nydia's father Tombi (Ibotombi).

During the programme, Nydia interacted with students and recounted how she worked hard to achieve the feat apart from answering academic queries from students.
