World Humanitarian Day held in Noney village

Noney, August 19 2024: As in other parts of the globe, World Humanitarian Day was observed by the Assam Rifles at Gangluan Part-III village in Noney district on Monday.

On the occasion, tributes were paid to the courageous efforts of both locals and AR, who selflessly dedicate themselves to uplifting their community.

The observance programme was marked by a lecture on the significance of World Humanitarian Day, underscoring the value of compassion and unity.

Essential items were also distributed, embodying the spirit of giving and hope.

The function concluded with speeches from village elders who expressed gratitude to AR for its unwavering dedication.
