Imphal, May 27 2024: New Hope Life Foundation for Disabilities organised an event at Manipur Press Club, here, on Monday, during which essential commodities were distributed to differently abled people.

The event was attended by ex-MLA L Jayantakumar and Foundation vice president Shanta Takhellambam as chief guest and president respectively while Delhi Public School.

New Delhi principal Laishram Rajesh and AMUCO secretary (organisation) Laishram Krishnachandra were guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Foundation founder member Nandeibam Ibeyaima highlighted its commitment to promote the rights of differently abled people and work for their welfare.

He said that the event has been organised as part of this initiative to extend support to altogether 21 differently abled people.

She further informed that 20 portable water tanks of 300 litre capacity along with a wheelchair were handed over to the differently abled people.
