AR interacts with CSOs, locals of Chassad

Imphal, December 22 2022: Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) organised an interaction programme with North Eastern Trainees' Association (NETA), Kangla Sangomsang, Rural Development Organisation (RDO), Phaknung, Youth Organisation Sporting Club (YOSC), Khurai and Yaipha Lamjing Kanglup Club (YLK), Chingarel Tejpur at COB Sawombung on Thursday.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the programme was aimed at strengthening the bond between the Assam Rifles and locals of the area, developing sense of safety and security, understanding basic demands, concerns and requirements of common people of the area through their representatives.

A total of 19 members of the CSOs participated in the meet.

The CSOs appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles in maintaining peaceful environment in the area and also requested to conduct such interaction programme in future.

Meanwhile, Chassad Battalion organised an interactive session with local populace at Chassad on Thursday in connection with the ensuing Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Chassad Battalion commandant interacted with leaders of Kuki community of Chassad area and assured them of all possible assistance and co-operation by the Battalion for their future endeavours.
