Inter-Sagolband painting competition held

Imphal, October 20 2024: In connection with the 14th foundation day celebration of Anouba Mayol Khongchat (AMKHAK), the second inter-Sagolband spot painting and drawing competition was held on Sunday at Lainingthou Amudon community hall, Tera Amudon Leikai.

Sagolband MLA RK Imo, who witnessed the spot painting and drawing competition, said that extra-curricular activities is important in imparting education as it will help in exploring talents and hobbies of students.

In the same manner, the competition was organised for students of Sagolband AC, he added.

According to RK Imo, AMKHAK established by dedicated persons with the main objective to render social and humanitarian service, has been making notable contribution in bringing positive changes in Sagolband AC.

He also reflected on development works being carried out in Sagolband AC particularly drinking water facilities and drainage system.

The competition was also witnessed by AMKHAK president Karnajit Rajkumar, IMC Ward No 7 caretaker corporator R Jiten and Ward No 7 ex-member Ch Tombi.
