Army commemorate World Students' Day

Imphal, October 15 2024: Indian Army commemorated World Students' Day by organising variety of events at St Francis School, Nongdam Tangkhul, Imphal East district on Tuesday.

The event began with tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, honouring his contributions to education and the nation.

A motivational video titled "Join Indian Army" was screened to encourage students to contribute to nation-building efforts.

Additionally, the Army provided free medical check-ups for all students and staff.

A poster-making competition was also held on the occasion to enable students to showcase their creativity.

Additionally, kids enjoyed fun-filled games held as part of the day's event.

World Students' Day is celebrated on October 15 to commemorate the birth anniversary of former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
