CCpur, September 13 2022:
The Churachandpur District Bar Association (CDBA) has strongly condemned high handedness and unethical acts of a group of people who obstructed one of its members from meeting clients, attempted to attack and even threatened to burn down the member's chamber/house if he continues to represent clients.
The group of people also shouted abusive languages and dictated the member not to represent clients, CDBA said in a statement and appealed to the group of people not to take law into their own hand as the same may have serious legal consequences upon them.
According to the CDBA statement, it is the fundamental principle of justice that everyone shall be represented and urged any aggrieved/disgruntled persons to seek remedy as per provision of law.
While appreciating timely intervention of the district police personnel in the incident that happened on September 10, CDBA urged district police to continue rendering their service for the safety of all.
