MU, AIMS sign MoU on cane & bamboo research

Imphal, September 27 2024: Department of Forestry, Manipur University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apunba Imagi Machasing (AIMS), Manipur, to collaborate in academic and scientific research initiatives.

According to a press release issued by AIMS, the MoU signed on September 25 marked the beginning of a partnership aimed at fostering joint efforts in research, academic programmes, and the promotion of environmental events, including mass plantation of cane and bamboo.

The head of the department of forestry expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the dean of School of Agricultural Science and the vice-chancellor of Manipur University, and highlighted their crucial role in making the collaboration possible.
