Imphal, August 19 2024: A combined team of security forces conducted search operation in S Nabil area under Churachandpur district and seized a number of arms and ammunition.

According to police report, acting on a tip-off that a large cache of weapons was being hidden by armed miscreants at S Nabil village, a combined team of Indian Army deployed in Churachandpur area, BSF personnel and Churachandpur district police carried out search operation.

During the search, the team recovered two rocket-like devices, mortar shells and various other weapons.

The seized arms have been handed over to the police station concerned for further legal proceedings.
