CPI hails Rahul Gandhi's Manipur visit

Imphal, July 09 2024: While expressing joy over the visit of Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to the state for personal assessment of the crisis in the state, Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council (CPI-MSC) has stated that the visit is a source of pride for the people and INDIA bloc.

In a statement, CPI-MSC said it has been making relentless efforts for protecting the territorial integrity of Manipur.

The visit of Rahul Gandhi signifies support to the demands of CPI-MSC.

Though the BJP has not been able to take up concrete measures to address the state's crisis, Rahul Gandhi's visit is believed to have paved the way for resolving the situation and restoring peace.

The statement further said that a national council meeting of CPI will be held from July 13 to 15 at CPI headquarters; Ajay Bhawan in New Delhi during which councillors of the state will take part and bring up the state's issues.
