12 test positive for Covid-19 at vax camp

Imphal, June 08 2021: On the second day of the mass testing cum vaccination programme conducted for Khurai AC at EYDA community hall, Top Khongnangkhong on Tuesday, samples of 105 people were tested out of which 12 were confirmed to be Covid-19 positive.

During the same programme, 67 people were also vaccinated.

Assembly Segment COVID Awareness and Enforcement Committee, Khurai co-ordinator Amba Sanjem- bam stated that the pandemic could be contained if many people turn up for conducting testing and get vaccinated against Covid-19.People who tested positive for Covid-19 during the testing were then sent to Community Home Isolation Centre, he added.
