RIMS holds Swachhta Health Camps

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), organised Swachhta Health Camps as a part of Swachhta Action Plan (SAP) 2024-25 at Channam Sandrok Awang Leikai in Imphal East and Phumlou Keiroi Imphal West district on Sunday.
In a release, RIMS PRO informed that the health camps provided vital medical care to approximately 400 persons facilitated by doctors from various departments including obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, ENT, medicine, and eye care.
Attendees received free medical treatment along with essential medicines, distributed at both venues.
SAP/Kaya Kalp 2024-25 nodal officer professor YGovindaraj Singh personally attended the health camp and provided hands-on treatment to patients, it added.
The PRO also informed that participation of RIMS doctors, staff and students, underscored the institute s ongoing dedication to enhancing the health and well-being of underserved populations.
The event aligns with the overarching objectives of the Swachhta Action Plan and to promote health, hygiene, and cleanliness within the community, it'said.
