KCP members remanded to police custody

Imphal, October 15 2024: The seven members of KCP Nongdrenkhomba group, who were arrested on Monday on the charge of involvement in extortion activities, have been remanded to police custody by the duty magistrate on Tuesday.

Of the seven, Henthoibi Moirangthem alias Chan (41), daughter of Moirangthem Kumar of Uripok Gopalji Leirak, has been remanded to police till October 19 .

The remaining six, Lousambam Alin (25) son of late L Bayron of Singjamei Oinam Thingel, Korisam Rohit (23) son of K Gonendro of Patsoi Part 1, Sanju Wahengbam alias Lemba (20) son of late W Sanjoy of Palace Compound Mahabali Mamang, Phanjoubam Thoiba Mangang alias Malemnganba (26) son of late Ph Jiten of Thongu Part 2, but presently a resident of Wangkhei Tokpam Lekai, Waikhom Hero (21) son of W Iboyaima of Takhel Mamang Leikai, and Yanglem Bikash alias Amujao (23) late Y Hemanta of Singjamei Yanglem Leikai will face police interrogation till October 25 .
