Kakching, July 09 2024: In connection with the observance of National Students' Day, students of Kakching district who cleared this year's class X and XII examinations with high marks were felicitated by presenting the Leishangthem Amu Meritorious Students' Award on Tuesday.

The observance was jointly organised by Leishangthem Amu Meritorious Students Award Committee and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Kakching unit at the auditorium of Library and Information Centre Kakching, Phoushupat Leikai.

Around 300 students who excelled in class X and XII examinations conducted by the state board/ council and the CBSE were encouraged with presentation of memento and certificate.

The event was attended by Bhubon Technical and Skill Development (BTSD) Private Limited chairman Naorem Nabachandra as chief guest, and Award Committee president Naorem Amuyaima as president while Chandel Division assistant conservator of forests (ACF) Naorem Munal Meitei and NIT Manipur associate professor Dr Thiyam David were present as guests of honour.
