Covid-19 scare hits Aibulon village

Acting on reports conveyed by Aibulon Village Authority chief/chairman that the large number of villagers suffering from fever, cough, cold and vomiting since March 1 could be Covid-19 cases, chief medical officer (CMO) Churachandpur directed the medical officer of Sinzawl-to take up necessary action by sending a medical team and assessing the ground reality.
According to sources, a medical team headed by Dr Sushil Singh Khomdron was subsequently sent to Aibulon village and the team submitted a report to the CMO Churachandpur informing those 17 villagers have been checked by the medical team.
The report mentioned that the team found that 10 were food poisoning cases, two ANCs, another two were normal while three are suffering from common cold.
All were mild cases and were given medicines with their RAT also turning out to be negative.
